Why is this important
With the ability to send bulk email from several different screens in Connect, user can now choose from a list of available pre-written emails. These emails can be edited for your school, likewise School Admins can add new templates.
Editing Templates
Follow the instructions below to edit the templates
- Go to Admin> Emails
- Scroll down to Email Templates section
- Select either Applications, Events or Students from the Module menu to display the corresponding email templates
Tip: Be sure to review all templates and make sure they are on message for your school. Be sure to test every message before activating them. |
Adding a new template
Follow the steps below to add a new template
- Go to Admin> Emails
- Scroll down to Email Templates section
- Click the ADD NEW button at the bottom of the table
- Enter in a Template Name, Subject and Email content
Tip: Use the INSERT FIELDS option to personalize your email and remember to test every message before activating them. |
- Click SAVE
- Be sure to activate the email under the ACTIVATED column in the Email templates section
- Once activated, your New Email template will now appear in the drop down menu
