2.5 Release: Form Redirects & Activity Log Update

The latest release of SchoolMint Connect, Version 2.5 has a new feature and several improvements.

Set Form Redirects

You can now specify what should happen after a SchoolMint Connect form is submitted. The options are to display a custom message or direct the user to any other web page by setting a redirect. 

• Select Redirect to another page
• Enter in the desired URL for that page
• Select the option to Open in new tab or leave as is to remain in the existing window
• Click SAVE

Funnel Metrics by Starting Year

When this is enabled, the default academic year will be the next school year. Now you can easily compare the metrics for a future academic year to that of a year in the past. The easiest way to see if your numbers are on track - does not matter how far out you go!

Activity Log Updates

• When sending emails to both parents, we now display the entry as one record in the activity log versus two.
• An Activity Log record is now added when sending an email to event RSVPs
• We are also including the content of sent messages from form completions and messages sent from Students and Event RSVP lists!

Improvements

• Provided more flexibility when deferring a student on the Student detail screen, where the future values will auto-set to current values if they exist, including the current academic year.
• For charts, we have introduced abbreviations in the total boxes for large numbers
• A birth date can now be up to a year in the future - great for expecting parents who want to get on your waitlist!
• When accessing the School Lists screen, we now display the list names in alphabetical order and enable text search - so much better!
• When downloading Event Registrants, we now include Sub-tour Start time and End time
• Under Analytics, we now set the default value for Starting Year for Forms by Starting Year
• On the General Inquiry Form we have addressed the issue where the Gender field remained highlighted in red after submit
• More accessibility improvements to support screen readers that include page titles for navigation
